I love dedicated gluten free restaurants and Kye’s Montana is now one of my new favorites. Kye’s is dedicated gluten free with tons of dairy free, egg free, soy free, and keto/paleo options so everyone can enjoy! This is a fast casual kind of place where you go up to a counter and order and then they bring it out to you. The restaurant was super busy when I went on a Sunday afternoon (Local secret…park on one of the side streets like 15th or 16th..there is usually available parking and it is free!)
Kye’s offers breakfast and lunch options, but with a twist. All Kyeritos items are served in a wrap of romaine lettuce or nori (I believe you can ask for a bowl so check on that if interested). There’s meat options and meat free options. Salads, soups, and desserts are also available as well as a kids menu!
There are so many options that I had a hard time deciding on what to order. I finally settled on the Bulgogi, which includes bulgogi marinade, macro pressed vegetables, kim chi, house made Gochujang sauce, AND white rice/quinoa blend. Normally this is wrapped in romaine but I hate lettuce so I requested nori wrap only. This option was also dairy free, nut free, and egg free! Oh my goodness…amazingness! It is served in a a wrapping to keep it all together. The staff will show you how to remove the wrapping as it was a bit confusing for me at least!
I also was super excited to try their Strawberry Fruity Boba. This drink was made with real strawberries (not strawberry powder or flavoring like most), coconut milk, coconut water, boba, dates, and vanilla. It was delicious! There was a TON of Boba (I would actually request less next time!), but the drink was SO refreshing and I couldn’t get enough. I would have ordered an extra large if that is an option.
I will definitely be back to Kye’s. (Also….It is located within walking distance of Erin McKenna’s Bakery so you can visit 2 dedicated gluten free eating places at once!) I loved their menu variety and the quality and size of the food! I was very full and happy afterwards.
