Gluten free at Sweetfin Poke, Los Angeles, CA

I was super excited to find yet another 100% dedicated gluten free restaurant in Los Angeles. Since discovering Sweetfin Poke, I can’t stop going back! Sweetfin Poke is a fast casual dining experience located in Westwood and Santa Monica. Everything in the location is gluten free—makes me so happy to not have to worry about cross contact with gluten.

At Sweetfin, you can pick a bowl off the menu or build your own bowl–rice, fish, veggies, toppings, you name it! To start you pick your protein: tuna, salmon, tofu, albacore, or vegetable. You also have the option of doing half and half–I always do half veggie and half tofu! I hate fish so I was so glad to find vegetarian options. Then you pick your sauce. My personal favorite is the ponzu lime (which is a sweet citrus sauce!). However, there are 7 sauces to choose from–all are gluten free of course and 3 are vegan! Next, you pick your base: bamboo rice, kelp noodle slaw, citrus kale salad, and forbidden rice. I love the bamboo rice.

My favorite part is the toppings! You get 5 complimentary add-ons–I always choose pickled ginger, napa cabbage, Japanese eggplant, edamame, and cucumber.

You can choose a large or small bowl, so it’s a perfect place for a meal or a snack. They also have gluten free frozen desserts and various drinks. Delivery and pick up orders are available.

Sweetfin Poke has quickly become one of my favorites spots in Westwood. I love that it is dedicated gluten free and has options for all of my friends. The portions are generous and filling. I will continue to go back as often as I can 🙂

**This review solely reflects my own honest opinion. I was neither paid nor given a complimentary meal for my visit here. Please note that kitchen protocols and menus can change at any time. Make sure to speak to the staff at any restaurant before eating to make sure that they can accommodate your dietary restriction.**
