Gluten Free at Marche De Macarons, Savannah, GA

I love dessert (as if you didn’t already know that) so I was SO excited to stumble upon the 100% dedicated gluten free bakery, Marche De Macarons, in Savannah, Georgia! Finding real food in this city was a bit challenging to say the least (more on that later!), but I visited Marche De Macarons multiple times during my 5 day trip! I loved it that much.

Marche De Macarons has the classic macaron flavors like vanilla and chocolate, but they also have some really unique flavors like Tybee Turtle, Green Tea, Confetti, and Savannah Banana. They have a solid regular menu, which you can find here, as well as a rotating seasonal menu here. And yes, all of the flavors are gluten free!!! As you can see, their display case is packed to the brim with options.

Another awesome tidbit? The macarons are larger than average with copious amounts of filling, some of the largest macarons I have had, which made me so happy. I tried their red velvet, chocolate ganache, chocolate strawberry, vanilla, and confetti. I loved them so much I went back the next day for more.

Confetti macaron–my favorite!

Where can you find this magical place? Well, Marche De Macarons has a storefront in  the historic/downtown area of Savannah (42 Abercorn Street, this is the one I visited) as well as a location in midtown Savannah & Hilton Head South Carolina. I also saw them in a shop in the Savannah-Hilton Head International Airport–note that this is a shared shop but macarons are kept seperately.

Not near Savannah, GA? You are in luck as Marche De Macarons ship across the country!! They even offer wedding favor macarons as well as wedding reception macarons, which you can add an image or monogram to for an extra special touch.

Would I return? Clearly I already did. The macarons were larger, fresh, and flavorful. They made my meal struggles better and I always kept some in my work bag so I could snack when I was hungry. Thank you, March De Macarons, for being dedicated gluten free so those of us with celiac disease can enjoy! ❤

**This review solely reflects my own honest opinion. I was neither paid nor given a complimentary meal for my visit here. Please note that kitchen protocols and menus can change at any time. Make sure to speak to the staff at any restaurant before eating to make sure that they can accommodate your dietary restriction.**
